Meydan 1 March - betting market update with Ron Wood

Lots of short-priced horses on this card but there are a few runners who look worth speculative punts.

2.50pm (GMT): I’ve tipped Castlewarden, but there’s no value in his morning price. An alternative is Mersaal, an in-form improver who is a much bigger price than I was expecting.

4.00pm (GMT): I do think Nations Pride will win this comfortably and prices pushing 2-1 aren’t bad.

4.35pm (GMT): The more I look at this, the keener I am on Majestic Pride - he looks generously priced at double figures.

5.45pm (GMT): I’ve tipped Tuz, but Drew’s Gold is a bigger price than he should be against him.
