2.05pm (GMT) - This is a bad race, but one who sticks out as being overpriced is Military Artist at around 16s. He’s better than these on his best form and I almost made him the selection, instead just favouring Maputo.
2.50pm (GMT) - Monfrid is potentially well ahead of his mark, being open to more improvement than most, but he’s drawn wide and is a shorter price than I’d like. There are loads of others with chances and Eye On The Prize looks overpriced at 20-1+.
3.25pm (GMT) - Classic City has a tougher draw than when winning last time but this is a lesser race. I’m happy with the 4-1 since he’s just better than these. He faces kickback fine.
4pm (GMT) - I’m pretty sweet on Max Mayhem in this and think he’s fairly priced at pushing 10-1.
4.35pm (GMT) - This is wide open and, being completely honest, I struggled to price it up to the point where I was happy with my forecast. Pen Portrait is a much bigger price than I was expecting, but it’s not a race I’m confident on. The original selection, Freedom Fighter, does at least seem fairly priced at double figs.
5.10pm (GMT) - I like Jungle Mac, but I’m surprised to see Mukaafah at 16s. It’s hard to know what to expect from him, but he can win if he’s ready and I had him 9-2 second in behind the selection.
5.45pm (GMT) - Nothing to add
6.20pm (GMT) - An appalling race, but happy with the price of original selection Border Edge.
